explore & dine

TODOS SANTOS
45 mins - 1 hour north of Cabo is a small coastal town called Todos Santos. For the surf lovers out there, it is widely regarded as one of the country’s best surf spots, but also a great spot to wander the cobblestone streets lined with tiny artisan shops and refurbished haciendas in the old part of town. Popular spots to eat include Taller 17 for breakfast, Carnitas Machin for homemade corn tortillas and Dūm for dinner.

explore & dine

SAN JOSE DEL CABO
This neighborhood offers a great selection of new and unique dining options and plenty to see. For brunch, check out PEZGALLO, which offers Coffee Mojitos and a mimosa with ginger. For seafood lovers, there is El Aguamala Cevicheria or La Lupita Taco & Mezcal where you can get a freshly caught fish taco wrapped in a warm flour tortilla. If you have time for a more elevated dining experience, check out Lumbre, Don Sanchez or Flora Farms - you will thank us later. For anyone coming into town early, every Thursday there is an art walk from 5–9 pm in downtown San Jose del Cabo.

explore & dine

DOWNTOWN CABO SAN LUCAS
For anyone staying or looking to explore Downtown Cabo San Lucas, there are several tours and activities you can book, including a boat tour to see the Arch of Cabo San Lucas. To dine, check out The Office on the Beach or Edith's. Office on the Beach is quintessential Cabo lunch or dinner spot where you can sit on the beach and enjoy the menu consisting mainly of classic Mexican dishes and giant Margaritas. Edith’s is the sister restaurant that provides a more elevated feel.

golf

QUIVIRA LOS CABOS
For the golf lovers out there, set up a tee time at Quivira, voted one of the world's greatest golf courses by golf digest.

tour

ATV TOUR
For adventure seekers out there, book an ATV tour and check out the desert landscapes and ocean views.

WHALE WATCHING
February is a great time to spot whales in Cabo. Whether from your hotel pool or setting up a tour.

FAQ

What airport should I fly into?

Los Cabos International Airport (SJD). Please note passports are required to fly into Cabo, make sure your passport is up to date ASAP! Upon arrival you will receive a visa card you will need to hold onto to get back into the U.S.

What day should we arrive?

We would love to spend as much time with our guests as possible - we suggest arriving the morning of Thursday, February 22nd. Wedding festivities will start on Thursday afternoon!

How do I get from the airport to my hotel?

We have used Cabo Airport Shuttles (https://caboairportshuttle.net) for our trips to Cabo and they offer great service! We have a 10% discount code for our guests, use: ALYSONANDANDREW.
Note: You cannot use Uber for travel from the airport to your accommodations, the drivers are not allowed to complete pickups here. You can however book an Uber from your accommodations to the airport for your departing flight so we recommend only booking a one way shuttle to the hotel.

What time should I arrive to the wedding and will there be shuttles to the event?

Arrival time for the wedding is 4 PM, with the Ceremony beginning promptly at 4:30 PM. We have coordinated a private shuttle transportation from the Marquis Los Cabos resort @ 3pm. Please confirm when RSVP-ing if you would like to use the provided transportation.

Make sure to arrive early so you don't miss out on all of the fun!

Are kids allowed at the wedding?

Although we would love to have your little ones attend, this is an adults only celebration due to space and budget constraints. We hope you will enjoy a mini vacation full of relaxation and laughter. We thank you for understanding.

What should I expect for the temperature?

During February, average temperatures in Cabo range from mid 70s F during the day to lows of 60 F at night. The climate in Cabo is a tropical desert.

What should I wear to the events?

For those who are able to attend the welcome pool party the dress code is casual/pool attire.
For the wedding we are asking guests to dress in Tropical Formal - think chic! Suits, cocktail dresses and floor length dresses only. Please no short sleeve shirts, shorts or jeans. The wedding and reception is outdoors so make sure to bring a jacket for the evening time.

When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP via the "Kindly Reply" section of the website by December 1, 2023. Note, due to space limitations, only guests who were addressed a plus one are able to RSVP for yourself and a guest.

Do I need to rent a car and are there Ubers or Taxis available in Cabo?

We do not feel there is a need to rent a car as there are plenty of Ubers and Taxis available as well as transportation being provided to the Wedding event. Uber is a great, easy and safe way to get around Cabo once you have reached your accommodations. There are plenty of cars available and the rates are significantly more affordable than a traditional taxi. Please note, if you do use a taxi, most require cash which can be paid in USD or Pesos.

Is there a hotel room block?

Yes! We have a limited number of rooms blocked off at a discounted rate at the Marquis Los Cabos Resort. This is an all-inclusive resort - meaning all drinks and food at the hotel is included in the room rate cost! Note, this hotel is adults only. Please scroll up to find more information on the hotels and rates available.

Be mindful of the water!

Water in Mexico is not safe to drink from the tap. Hotels and rental accommodations will provide water bottles, but we recommend using bottled water even when brushing your teeth (Alyson recommendation).
